We are all concerned about the abuses and conditions in which children are suffering at the hands of California and their political subdivisions, the county and their agencies.
Santa Clara County's Juvenile Justice System is wrought with children abused while in custody. Key in assisting your children and family is documentation.
Document. Document. Document.
Notify the County Agency and all authorities in WRITING. Write them of the abuse to the children and your family.
Making a phone call to the jail, the county, the state, the federal agencies, the social workers or probation officers will do NOTHING. Do it in Writing!
Serve all complaint letters to them through a process server, a witness who can testify that they received them (proof of service by anyone over the age of 18 and not a party to any of the actions) or by registered mail with a return receipt.
Keep a copy of the complaint in a secure file with your records, as the agency the complain is against may lose all records of previously filed complaints.
Make absolutely sure that the complaint is true and correct and that all original copies of evidence submitted with the complain are kept safe. This will be important to be able to provide this complaint and the evidence to an attorney as part of a civil or civil rights lawsuit. Good records are extremely important!!
